What We're Seeing Across the Biotech Industry

That renewed confidence is reflected in broader market trends. The biotech ecosystem is beginning to regain momentum as investment activity, strategic partnerships, and financing opportunities continue to improve. The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index (NBI) has risen more than 50% over the past two years and reached a record high in July 2026. We recently explored these trends in more detail in our blog, Biotech Is Beginning to Turn a Corner, featuring market insights from our partner, Byte51.
It’s also reflected in what we’re seeing at our newest facility, 66 Galen in Watertown. The first phase is now open and already home to several new member companies. Construction on the second phase is underway and on track for delivery in November. While it’s still early, we’re encouraged by the momentum we’re seeing across the industry and look forward to supporting more biotech companies as they grow.
